![]() You have time to move it around but once it sets, you won’t be able to move it. The doe foot applicator allows an easy application and the shadow is easy to blend with the finger. It’s not patchy at all and you can layer it to get a more opaque look. You don’t get any glitter fall down through the day. They aren’t necessarily ugly and I’ll use them when I need glitter but the Stila ones are more elegant. The formula is very sheer and the glitter is chunky and sparse. To me, it’s a bit too chunky and it looks like kids makeup, I see why people compare them to Stila but to me, they aren’t a dupe. ![]() It has a flat doe foot applicator that I love, it picks up just the right amount of product. The packaging is a thick and relatively small tube in a hard plastic material. To be honest, you know I love glitter so when I saw this I thought I could give them a go, I got two shades, you can read the review of the other (Pinky Swear) shade here. I went into this product completely blindly but I’ve found out that is actually a best seller and people claim they are dupes of the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows which I’ve owned and loved in the past. If you wish to find out more, please see my Disclaimer within my navigation bar.Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the elf Cosmetics Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in the shade Disco Queen. are PR samples or gifted items, unless otherwise indicated. You can find the ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow right here.Īll products featured on Gemma Etc. ![]() ![]() For £5 each, I can’t recommend the neutral shades enough, and the fallout is minimal which is rare for a liquid glitter shadow. This particular shade has a sheerer base, but you can build the intensity up, and it does layer well too. The ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow has a really great formula that really is comparable to the Stila versions, yet the ELF version is almost £20 cheaper which is crazy. The ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow doesn’t feel wet, and sets down almost instantly on the lids. The shadows each have a doefoot applicator, just like the Stila version too.įrom the eight shades on offer I bought Flirty Birdy and also Disco Queen, but the one in this post is Flirty Birdy which is a light bronzey gold with a sheer base and lots of golden glitter particles in different sizes, so they really catch the light.Ī strange comparison, but I find the Stila version to be more ‘wet’, in that you feel how wet they are when you apply them to the lids, and you have to allow them to try. The packaging is almost identical to that of the Stila version, except Stila has gold accents. The ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow collection includes eight shades, and each of the shades is packaged within a rectangular plastic tube with a white cap. ![]() Just in time for the Holiday season, these 8 shades are perfect for a fun and vibrant look.“ Formulated for comfortable wear and minimal fall out, this opaque liquid eyeshadow delivers high-impact, multi-dimensional glitters and pearls in a quick-drying gel base. “ This gel-based formula is long-lasting, quick-drying and 100% eye-catching! Get an amped up eye look with one-swipe glitter coverage. I have to be honest, I’ve heard really mixed reviews on the formula, especially for the brighter shades but as they’re only £5 each, I bought a couple of shades to see what the formula was like. The ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow collection launched back in January via the ELF website, but they only made their way to Superdrug relatively recently. I’m a massive fan of the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows, but they’re £24 per shade, so I’m always looking for drugstore dupes. ![]()
